Having served with the elite parachute regiment for 5 years including tours of Northern Ireland and America, Eddie has extensive knowledge and experience of training outdoors and using the natural resources to gain real results. Having been in the fitness industry for 10 years Eddie has worked with thousands of clients and specialises in weight loss, optimal nutrition, postural development and improving functional fitness to improve your quality of life. “I always look at peoples lifestyles when designing workouts and healthy eating plans, I believe you can achieve the results you desire as well as improving your posture, health and quality of life”

WALKING FASTER WILL NOT GET YOU THERE QUICKER, IF YOU ARE HEADING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION.
There is a real chance you are making the problem worse at a quicker rate by working harder. Don't get me wrong, i'm not against working out at a high intensity, quite the opposite. What i'm trying to achieve is to provide a comprehensive health and fitness package that will initially give you the basic exercise knowledge, nutrion guidelines, exercise strategies and motivation to exercise safely and effectively. Then to continually develop new and exciting methods to maintain your health over a continued period of time. Ideally for the rest of your life.


NOW FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE PART
The purpose of EDpersonaltraining Ltd is to provide individuals with a comprehensive, balanced health routine that can be intergrated into their daily life.
For example, running on a treadmill will only condition certain muscles of your body, if you continue to run over a period of time, you will further condition these muscles only. What you nee to understand is that your muscles work as a team, when one muscle on the front of your body contracts, there will be an opposing muscle that will passively or actively stretch to allow the smooth motion of the controlling muscle. There are also synergist muscles (smaller muscles) which allow the major muscles (prime movers) to do their job more effectively, there are also dynamic and static stabilisers that protect joints and also help control posture.

What I'm trying to say is, there is not a singular exercise which works every muscle in your body and will provide you with a comprehensive workout.
Therefore, only using one type of exercise equipment will only condition certain muscles in your body. Over time this will have a negative effect on your body.
Also, if you use cardio and weights, you may be conditioning similar muscles with the weights routine that are being conditioned with the cardio routine, making the condition even worse than when you were just using one piece of equipment.
